The perfect fitting of this saddle is very unique, specially designed and modified to fit the Friesian Horse.  

This saddle is handcrafted in the MR Saddle tradition of the world's finest leather.  Experience shows that the lofty gaits and different use of the back of a Friesian in comparison to a Warmblood creates a bad fit and most often saddles are either just too small or too large for the Friesian. 

The position of the knee roll guarantees a connected and flat position to support the upper leg, which gives the leg a better contact.  The billets are fused in a "V" formation to prevent shift to a minimum.  A large, soft, padded seat provides comfort and gives the rider more balance.  THe specially designed padding system, flocked with wool, ensures good contact and better pressure distribution over the back of the horse.  By designing the low point of the seat more forward (as the Friesian horse is built shorter); positions rider correctly int he saddle and shifts the balance more forward on the horse's back.
